La Joya ISD is closely monitoring the approaching cold weather conditions scheduled for next week. We will make decisions about a school delay or closure, as we gather additional information. Classes are to continue as scheduled until further notice. Please continue to monitor the La Joya ISD district website www.lajoyaisd.com, our La Joya ISD social media outlets with the handle @lajoyaisd, and the local news outlets for changes to our normal district operation schedule.

Senior varsity cheerleaders, Italia Flores and Ruby Reyna, represented the Lobos, Texas, and Varsity Spirit, in the Pearl Harbor Memorial Parade in Honolulu, HI which took place December 7.
