This past Saturday, February 28, 2026, our NTHS National Honor Society members represented PHS at the LJISD Heart Walk at the LJISD Stadium — standing (and walking) together to promote heart health awareness in our community. 🐺💙
Heart health is maintained by adopting daily habits that help control blood pressure, cholesterol, and blood sugar while promoting a healthy weight. With just 30 minutes of walking each day, adults can improve their cardiovascular health by up to 35%. 🚶♀️🚶♂️
Small choices make a powerful difference. This message is vital for our families and our community — prevention starts with movement, awareness, and commitment.
We are proud of our NTHS members for leading by example and supporting a healthier future for all. ❤️
