📢 La Joya ISD District Update: District Closure for June 20, 2024📢 After assessing current weather conditions, La Joya ISD will remain closed on Thursday, June 20, 2024. All summer school activities and summer camps scheduled for this day are canceled. District employees who are still under contract are required to report to work. ****************************** 📢 Actualización de La Joya ISD: Cierre del distrito para el 20 de junio del 2024📢 Después de evaluar las condiciones climáticas, La Joya ISD permanecerá cerrado el jueves 20 de junio del 2024. 🙌 Our Summer Bridge students had the opportunity to learn the manufacturing process as they created a product. They learned to read a blueprint, identify raw materials, and then use bends to manufacture the final product. 🙌

👏🏼 Congratulations to our coaches, trainers, and athletes for a great year. 👏🏼 At the All Valley Sports banquet hosted by RGV Sports, Palmview High School Athletics was named a top 3 finalist for Program of the Year. This was due to the outstanding accomplishments of the Lobo athletes.

Our Summer Bridge students completed a scavenger hunt activity today! They received a campus tour and met administrators, counselors, and other support staff. We want them to feel welcomed into their new environment as they transition to high school. 🙌🏫
