🇺🇸💜 Honoring Our Heroes: The Purple Heart Project 💜🇺🇸
Today, La Joya ISD proudly dedicated the Purple Heart Project, an incredible initiative created by our La Joya Juarez-Lincoln High School students to honor the military heroes in our community who were physically injured while serving our country. During a heartfelt ceremony, JLHS JROTC cadets unveiled the new Purple Heart parking space at the Central Administration Building.
This project is a powerful collaboration between our students, the Purple Heart Project, and La Joya ISD. It’s a lasting tribute to the bravery and sacrifice of our military heroes, and a reminder to our students about the importance of serving others. 💜✨
As a district committed to College, Career, and Military Readiness (CCMR), we’re proud to support initiatives that inspire leadership, gratitude, and service. Thank you to everyone who made this special moment possible!

Turn Every Drive into a Learning Adventure!
🚗📖 Make car rides more than just a journey—turn them into reading adventures! At La Joya ISD, we encourage you to ask your child to spot and read words on signs, billboards, or store names to practice recognizing environmental print. It's a fun and easy way to build literacy skills on the go!
