Our College and Career Center students had the opportunity to attend a powerful Domestic Violence Awareness event at UTRGV. District Attorneys from Hidalgo, Willacy, Cameron, and Webb counties shared important insights on the impact of domestic violence in our communities and the legal measures in place to support victims. It was an eye-opening experience that reminded us all of the importance of awareness, prevention, and standing up for those affected.
