Welcome to this week’s edition of the PHS Community Newsletter!
Palmview High School is closing out another strong school year! This week is filled with important end-of-year events, celebrations, final reminders, and opportunities to recognize the hard work, growth, and resilience of our students and staff.

Important Reminders:

πŸ“Œ Monday, June 1 is the first day of summer school for students.

Palmview High School proudly celebrates the success of our graduating seniors! This past weekend, our Lobos walked the stage and marked an unforgettable milestone surrounded by family, friends, teachers, and the Palmview community.

We are incredibly proud of the Class of 2026 for their hard work, perseverance, and commitment throughout their high school journey. Their graduation is not only a celebration of achievement, but also a reminder of the support, encouragement, and dedication of the families, educators, counselors, coaches, sponsors, and staff members who helped them along the way.

Thursday, May 28 is the final day of school for students.

Students are encouraged to finish the year strong, attend school, complete final responsibilities, and participate positively in all end-of-year activities.

Monday, June 1 will be the first day of summer school..

Our campus attendance goal is 95%.

Last week, our overall attendance average was 91.35%. Let’s finish the year strong by making every day count!

La Joya ISD will offer High School Summer Programs from June 1–26, 2026, and Palmview High School will serve as one of the host sites.
These summer opportunities are designed to support students with credit recovery, credit advancement, college readiness, EOC preparation, TSI support, dual credit experiences, and career-focused learning.
