Palmview High School Art Student Does It Again!

It all starts with an idea and the desire to create! Palmview High School Art students competed at regional online V.A.S.E. (Visual Art Scholastic Event) held this past March 6th, 2021.

The competition consisted of artworks varying from digital photography, mixed media, painting, ceramics, sculpture, and airbrush.  It was an intense and challenging competition with Art students participating from all over Region One schools. Students spent long, exhausting, and frustrating hours developing their concepts and slowly watching the transformation of an empty surface to an amazing, and in several cases, personal art pieces.  The whole process was lengthy, but it was well worth it!

Palmview High School Students brought home, for the 8th year in row, straight 4’s with High Marks, and every student received medals. From those students, one moved on and advanced to State, which will be taking place online on April 24th, 2021. Ms. Moran is exceptionally proud of Anaili Garcia, a talented, hardworking student and fine artist.

We would like to acknowledge all who support generously when it came to helping and assisting our students.

Now, to recognize our amazing student with high ranking and medals. Anaili Garcia earned two Perfect Scores and advanced to State.
